The Radiology Department of Jackson Purchase Medical Center is located on the ground floor at the southeast entrance to the hospital complex. The department includes the reception and current file area and sub-departments of Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, and MRI.

Hours of Operation:

Routine procedures are available between the hours of 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Coverage is provided 4:00pm-7:30am and weekends by in-house Technologists for emergency procedures.

Requests for routine examinations received by the Radiology Department will be performed on that day when possible. Procedures completed by 4:00 pm will be interpreted on that day.

All outpatient procedures are scheduled through the centralized scheduling department. Scheduling may be reached Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:50pm by dialing (270) 251-4393. If your call is after business hours, you may leave a voicemail with test request information and your call will be returned on the next business day.

Requests for copies of Radiology reports should go to the Health Information Department. They can be reached at (270) 251-4142.

All procedures must have a signed order from a physician. Studies requiring iodinated contrast are not routinely done after hours. However, if these studies are warranted, the ordering physician must be present in the Radiology department to inject the patient and review the study performed.
