Outpatient Physical Therapy

Our outpatient therapy program offers a large area with a variety of strengthening equipment to meet the needs of our physical therapy patients. We have a team of  professionals on staff to assist our patients with their strengthening routines and exercises.

Our Tectrix Stepper has the design innovation and engineering advancement that make this ClimbMax stepper more suitable for a wider range of exercisers. It is a smooth, quiet, and user-friendly stair climber that can be used to meet the strengthening needs of our rehabilitation patients.

Our Tectrix Upright Bicycle is custom designed with an oversized seat to provide a comfortable, supportive shape without sacrificing durability. It can be easily adjusted to change the height of the seat and the large and easy display keeps our patients motivated with the MPH, Distance, RPH, and average speed.

Our Schwinn Airdyne Full Body Exerciser gives unique air resistance. The harder you pedal, the greater the resistance becomes. The fan-wheel cools the user during exercise and the computer provides feedback on time, distance, workload level, calories burned and rpms.

Our Tectrix Recumbent bicycle has several features that make its use reliable and fun. One feature includes a lower step-over height and it also has a larger more supportive seat. There are over 100 preset workouts with user friendly programming. In fact, it can even simulate a road bike's 18 speeds.

We are very pleased to offer Biodex assessments to ensure the fastest, most effective return to the desired level of function for our patients prior to initiating and during a rehabilitation program. Biodex therapy is sensitive to the requirements of early intervention, working within the healing constraints of the joints and the soft tissue, and totally accommodating to the demands of restoring range of motion and strengthening.

We use our Biodex System 3 Balance Training System to do several things:

  • Balance Testing:

  • Identify fall candidates

  • Determine ankle and knee status

  • Determine limits of stability

Balance Training:

  1. Stabilization exercises

  2. Range of motion exercises

  3. Weight shift exercise
