The Food and Nutrition Services Department provides meals, special formula services, and clinical nutrition services to hospital inpatients as well as general nutrition counseling to outpatients. The hospital provides patient meals that meet nutritional needs and appeal to the taste of people of all ages. Specialized formulas are prepared each day to supply the unique nutritional requirements of individuals patients.
Clinical nutrition services include calorie counts, nutrition counseling, formula instructions, and daily screening to identify patients at nutrition risk. The clinical staff includes registered dietitians who work directly with patients and families to develop nutrition plans that meet the medical and cultural needs of the family. Clinical dietitians also act as consultants to the medical staff to provide specialized information on diets and formula preparations.
Cafeteria Service Hours
For the convenience of families, visitors, and our hospital staff, our cafeteria is located on the first floor off the Main Lobby. Meals are served during the following hours:
Breakfast • 6:30 am - 9:30 am
Lunch • 11:15 am - 1:30 pm
Dinner • 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Meals are served to patients at the following times:
Breakfast • 8:00 am
Lunch • 12 Noon
Dinner • 5:00 pm
If you would like to order a guest tray for a visitor in your room, please contact your nurse at least one hour prior to meal time. A guest tray will be delivered along with your meal.
The cost of a guest tray for breakfast, lunch or dinner is $3.
