Pelvic Floor Therapy Seminar
Jackson Purchase Medical Center - Community Conference Room or Virtual
Date: February 21, 2023
Time: 5:30 pm
Are you experiencing pelvic pain or bladder incontinence?
Join us for a pelvic floor therapy seminar in person or virtually at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb, 21!
Bladder incontinence and pelvic pain are common problems many women suffer from but may be embarrassed to share with their medical provider or are unaware of treatment options that can fix the issues. Although these symptoms are common, they are not normal and can be treated conservatively with pelvic floor physical therapy. Your pelvic floor muscles—located at the base of your pelvis—as well as your diaphragm, abdominal and hip muscles can be assessed for specific problems which can be addressed with a noninvasive, customized treatment plan at Jackson Purchase Physical Therapy.
Allyson Vogt, PT, is leading a seminar to inform women about pelvic floor treatment. The seminar will cover:
- The basics of pelvic floor therapy
- Common misconceptions regarding the therapy
- Who can benefit from treatment
- How to get started
- Open Q&A
Whether you are pregnant, post-partum or post-menopausal, you may benefit from this treatment. Allyson can answer any questions you might have and may be able to assist you with exercise, diet and lifestyle changes to solve small or large bladder leakage or pelvic pain concerns.
If you suffer from pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, stress urge or urinary incontinence, Allyson Vogt may be able to help. Join our FREE seminar at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the Jackson Purchase Medical Center Community Conference Room or join virtually here. No registration is required.
A provider’s referral is required for pelvic floor therapy. To schedule an appointment with Allyson, call 270.251.4121 or to find a provider, visit our Find a Doctor tab.
